2023年設立。舞踏家の若羽幸平と舞踊家の川村真奈による舞踏ユニット。喫茶店のようにさまざまな人たちが自由に出入りし、アートを通してつながる空間を目指してプロジェクトを展開します。
月2回の定期ワークショップを実施。舞踏を基盤としつつも、その枠にとどまらず、ダンステクニックとしての舞踏の可能性を追求している。
Established in 2023. “Wakaba Coffee” is a butoh unit led by Butoh dancer Kohei Wakaba and Mana Kawamura. The project aims to create a space where a variety of people can freely come by and gather as if it were a coffee shop. While rooted in Butoh, we go beyond its traditional framework, exploring its possibilities as a dance technique.
